You Have to Fight Back

Constant exhaustion as you fight to not black out. No dissociative disorder for over four months now. But we've come close a few times. You have to be careful so you don't let your guard down. If you do, a relapse is like an automatic reflex. You have to fight back. You have to protect yourself. Because you have to. Stay safe.

You Can't Just Sit Back and Do Nothing

A long day of fighting symptoms and to not relapse. The longer you go without a relapse, the more debilitating your pain is. On the other hand, if there was no pain we'd either be in a psych hospital or dead. It's not your fault. You did nothing wrong. Protect yourself at all costs.

Screen Everything

Is today a highly triggering day? When that happens, think of it as a really bad smog day. Everywhere you look there's triggering stuff. You do the best you can to try and protect your well being. Because you have to. One minute you feel you a certain amount of stability. Then horrible despair. Does this happen to all trauma survivors? Not sure. Despite that, you have to face it head on as best you can. Stay safe.

Screen Everything

Another triggering day. It's like everywhere you look triggering stuff is there. Set boundaries and protect yourself as best you can. Don't have a relapse. Don't let your guard down. Also, don't take on the pain of the rest of the world in addition to your pain. It's too much. You have to fight back.

Don't Relapse

Struggling to not relapse and fall apart. It will make your pain A MILLION TIMES WORSE. Don't do it. I don't want to fall apart. You're tortured every day no stop for a really long time. You have psychotic episodes every day as well. Nobody helps you. You feel terrified when you feel like you lose control over your body. But nobody helps you. You don't want to say to hell with the world and I just don't care anymore about anything. You don't want to fall into that trap. You just want to be able to sit, focus and not feel bombarded with pain. That's not too much to ask, is it?

How Does This Affect You Long Term?

Struggling with the full pain of our trauma history. For a long time, every day was torture. You're bombarded with violent dissociating. You feel like you have no control over your system. You now something's wrong, but you're not sure and nobody helps you. Then partly through not giving up you reach tiny moments of clarity. But you're terrified and don't know what to do. You're almost paralyzed. Protect yourself.

Tiny Things in How You Feel

You fight really hard to reach a certain point. Then you do, have tiny moments of clarity and feel empty and terrified. We know we did nothing wrong. But the sadness is always there. Protect yourself.

Protect Your Well Being

Set boundaries as best you can. Fight back because you have to. It's not your fault. You did nothing wrong. It's not your fault. You have no control over other people who say and do horrible things. Protect yourself.

To to Keep a Balance

A tough day struggling with anger and frustration. People around you who one minute say they care about you are abusive. They treat you like you're literally invisisible. So what do you do? You deserve better. Keep your side of things clean so you have nothing to apologize for. Protect your well being.

Protect Yourself

Don't slip. Don't dissociate and fall apart. If you do that, you'll back to being borderline psychotic or blacking out. Do you really want to feel terrified again? Every time you relapse the pain is twice as bad. Some never stop relapsing and eventually die. Do you really want that? Protect yourself.

Pay Attention

A long day of fighting symptoms and to not relapse. Stimulant cravings never seem to go away. If you relapse, you system turns severely acidic and it's really hard not to dissociate. Pay attention to small things in how you feel. One minute you feel relatively grounded. Then sadness, despair and fighting to not black out. But you do your best to try and cope. Stay safe.

Don't Dissociate

When was the last time we got a good night's sleep? Can't remember. Symptoms and pain are always there. You have to keep going though. At times it feels like all of the pain in the world is hitting us. Despite that, we're not abnormal in any way. We're not a failure or a threat to anyone. We did nothing wrong. It's not our fault. It's not our fault. It's not our fault. We did nothing wrong. We're not strange, weird, bizarre, a freak or any other crap. Protect your well being as best you can.

Struggle

We won't hurt ourselves or anybody else. But we feel like we're being bombarded with trauma pain and all the pain in the world at the same time. It's scary, but you have to fight to keep some sense of being grounded. You have to.

A Constant Struggle

You pen your eyes, and you're bombarded with sadness, depression, pain and more. But you have to keep going. Don't relapse. Don't fall apart. We don't want to hurt ourselves or anybody else. Pay attention to tiny things and how they affect you. We did nothing wrong. We're not a failure in any way. We did nothing wrong. Protect your well being.

Protect Yourself

A really long day with almost no sleep. Sleep paralysis is back. You can't move, talk or open your eyes. You almost have to shock yourself awake. My psychiatrist says that you won't die when it happens. But it's still scary. We did nothing wrong. It's not our fault. We're not a failure. We won't hurt ourselves or anybody else. We don't want to relapse and feel terrified. Protect yourself.

Don't Relapse

No matter what, don't relapse. It's not your fault that you were raped. You're not abnormal in any way. You're not a danger to yourself or anybody else. If you relapse, your pain will be worse. Protect yourself.

Protect Yourself

Fight symptoms and exhaustion. But we know we're doing the right things to protect our well being. You can't control what other cruel people say and do. But you can protect yourself. Because you deserve better.

Feeling Empty

Fighting symptoms and exhaustion. Also feeling really empty. Is it because of a sugar crash? Is it trauma pain? A combination of both? I'm not sure. You do your best to try and set boundaries to protect yourself. Because you have to.

Severe Mood Swings

One minute there's some sense of balance. Then despair. But what else can you do but fight back? You can't just sit back and do nothing. You have to protect your well being. You can save the world all by yourself? No. Be aware and care. But your well being has to come first. It's not your fault. You did nothing wrong. Stay safe.

Everything's Connected

Don't dissociate. Don't relapse. This will only make your pain way worse than it already is. You have to fight back. Because you do. Protect yourself.
