Don't Let Your Guard Down

A long day of fighting symptoms and to not dissociate. You focus on what's real, but it takes a lot of energy out of you. Despite that, don't let your guard down. It's almost like second nature to relapse and then you wonder, what happened? Protect yourself.

Focus

The pain is always there. You fight to focus on what's real. But it takes an enormous amount of energy. We're doing the right things to protect our well being. Protect yourself.

Don't Dissociate

It's been over three months, and no dissociative relapse. While that's a huge step, you can't let your guard down. That addict side of you is always there. Just relapse and your pain will disappear. But we know that's not true. You have to fight back. You have to.

You Have to Fight Back

Lots of triggering stuff everywhere you look. You have to screen everything and fight to protect your well being. The pain and exhaustion never go away. But you have to keep going. Stay safe.

Protect Yourself

Happy Easter! How's your part of the world? Here it's fight symptoms and protect your well being as best you can. Pay attention to tiny things in how you feel. Also, it'd exhausting to focus on what's real and know what isn't. Why? Because you have to. That's why.

Pain Is Coming Out

Another day of struggling with trauma pain flooding out. One of the biggest is arthritis. If you go back to drinking things with caffeine, everything hurts. Protect yourself and remember it's not your fault.

How's Your Pain Today?

Triggering stuff is everywhere. Do your best to protect your well being. At times it means no noise. You just want peace and quiet. You just want to feel safe in your home. You have to fight back. Just sit back and go with your feelings? That doesn't help us. Protect yourself.

Lots to do and constant exhaustion from fighting symptoms. But you do your best to try and face your trauma pain head on. Protect yourself because you have to. Do nightmares still happen? We have to watch how small things affect us. Others may be able to just ignore this. But for trauma survivors, you don't have that choice. Protect yourself.

Fighting to Not Relapse

Really exhausting fighting symptoms and to not black out. It's like your body feels like it's fighting to not physically freeze. We'll talk to the therapist on Wednesday. Our thoughts are with Paris as Notre Dame Cathedral burns.

Constant Pain

Another night of almost no sleep/ The pain is always there and feels emotionally paralyzing. You have to keep moving. You have to keep fighting to maintain some sense of grounding. It's not your fault. You did nothing wrong. You're not a danger to anyone. Protect yourself.

Forget Labels

Your pain never goes away. Others apply lots of labels. Mental illness. Disability. We say set all of that aside because you have health problems. You try to cope as best you can. The longer you go without having a relapse, the more debilitating the pain. At times we really have to focus to not feel paralyzed. What else can you do?

The longer you go without a relapse, the more debilitating your pain. But you have to keep going. You just have to. Stay safe.

The pain never goes away. You can't let your guard down. Don't take on your pain and the pain of the rest of the world. It doesn't work. Protect yourself as best you can. You fight because you have to. Constant exhaustion and symptoms are always there. Pain and evil is all over the place. Despite that, you have to fight to try and keep some sense of being grounded. You feel abandoned, sad and not sure of what to do. But you know it's not your fault. Like anyone with incurable conditions, you do your best to cope. Protect yourself.

A tough day of fighting symptoms. You can't just sit back and do nothing. You have to fight back to keep some sense of being grounded. Some techniques work and some don't. But you have to fight back. You're exhausted and continue. Because you have to. Stay safe.

A long day of fighting symptoms and to not relapse. The longer you go without a relapse, the more debilitating your pain is. On the other hand, if there was no pain we'd either be in a psych hospital or dead. It's not your fault. You did nothing wrong. Protect yourself at all costs.

Brexit and Other Triggering Stuff

How'a your part of the world? Everywhere you look, it's triggering stuff: Will there ever be a Brexit agreement? Joe Biden continues to think it's okay to put unwanted moves on ever hot woman he sees. Why? Because he's freakin' Joe Biden. That's why. You can't take on your pain and the pain of the rest of the world all at the same time. Don't fall into that trap. Despite that, the longer you go without a relapse, the more debilitating the pain is. This can make lots of health problems (ex. allergies) worse. Protect yourself as best you can.
